A Mystery for Dessert

Dr. Hackenbush is sentenced to time travel, until he can prove to his father that he can be trusted. Hackenbush is a distinguished detective, coming from a lineage that dates back to the Middle Ages. His great great.. great great great and so 40 times great-grandfather, was the first detective in Spain and the first person to apply logic in the resolution of disputes. His father, in addition to being a detective, invented the time machine... and young Hackenbush didn't think of anything else but to fiddle with it. He has appeared in your living room to solve a mystery: the honored person's gift, for which you are celebrating this dinner, has disappeared. Only with your help and skill in solving the riddles that will be presented, can the mystery be revealed, Hackenbush will be able to return to his time, and the honored person will have his gift.
